The OnePlus 10 won’t bring the bombshell design overhaul everyone has been hoping for. Instead, the device will look similar to the OnePlus 9, bringing some camera and performance improvements, including the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 CPU, according to one of our trusted sources.
Speaking to OnePlus Radar over the weekend, the source also confirmed the March 2022 release date we’ve been hearing so much about. Then again, that’s no surprise, really, considering OnePlus typically launches its flagship devices like clockwork — and the OnePlus 9 debuted in March 2021.
Our source also revealed that the OnePlus 10 will be OnePlus’ first device to ship running OxygenOS 12, based on the upcoming Android 12. This will bring a trove of exciting new features, modifications and optimizations, including a redesigned notification menu and an improved one-handed mode.
This information comes after it was revealed that the OnePlus 10 could be a refinement on the OnePlus 9. At the time, we couldn’t verify the authenticity of that rumor, but our source was able to corroborate that, making this more of a T Series refresh than the usual flagship rewrite we’re accustomed to.
