T-Mobile Finally Releases Android 11 for OnePlus 7T Pro 5G
Almost a month after T-Mobile released Android 11 (OxygenOS 11) for the OnePlus 7T in the United States, it has now started rolling it out to the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G — but think twice before installing it.
That’s because several OnePlus 7T Pro owners have complained that Android 11 caused Android Auto to become unstable, taking longer to establish a connection and often dropping them.
There’s nothing to say you’ll suffer the same fate on your T-Mobile variant of the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G after installing the update, but it’s worth considering if you frequently use or rely on Android Auto.

As a reminder, Android 11 brings an new user interface to OnePlus devices as well as several new features, including a Quick Toggle for Dark Mode and an updated Gallery application with a story feature.
If you haven’t received a notification prompting you to install the update but you manually want to check to see if it’s available, head into Settings, select System, then tap System Updates.
